Alina Maira is an alternative/pop/rock singer and songwriter from Pennsylvania. She has been writing and playing music since childhood, and finally began sharing her songs while living in Minneapolis in 2019. Since then she and her band have been playing various venues around the twin cities, before her move back to Philadelphia. She writes about heartbreak, love, complex trauma, PTSD, grief, and fond⏤almost dreamlike⏤positive memories that have been the heaven through hell. Alina has released an EP, as well as a few singles, and is saving to cover the finances of production for the full album. Her band is made up of her close friends, who bring the songs to life and turn them into something that evokes movement and release. Drummer Tim King (of Franklin Drum Co) bassist Jesse Rivers (of The Envies) and guitar players Johnny Forsythe (of Little Tigers) and Seth Duin (of General B and The Whiz).
