Canadian-born singer-songwriter Alex Sampson is emerging as one of pop’s most promising new voices, pairing boy-next-door charm with the emotional vulnerability of early 2000s singer-songwriters. Raised in Atikokan, Ontario, a small town of roughly 2,600 people, Sampson first found a global audience online through covers of artists including Ruth B, Ed Sheeran, and Billie Eilish before introducing fans to his own songwriting with early originals like “Stay Here,” “All That We Could Have Been” and “Play Pretend.” Sampson has since released his debut EP, Blurry Vision, appeared on season nineteen of America’s Got Talent, and followed with his sophomore EP, Hopeless Romantic. Named to People Magazine’s 2023 Emerging Artists list, he has built a highly engaged fanbase of more than 5.8 million combined social followers and over 101 million total views, connecting with Gen Z listeners while maintaining a broader, cross-generational appeal. After opening for Alexander Stewart in Canada and joining Jamie Miller’s Long Way Home tour across North America and Europe, Sampson kicked off his first headline tour across the U.S. and Canada in 2026.
