This all started about a two years ago when Gabe Wacker talked to Josh Cedar about his music ideas. After agreeing to start a band together, Gabe and Josh started to write lyrics. Then the two found their childhood friend Keith Goss Jr, who agreed to become the band's drummer. The band struggled to get a drum set for Keith for a half a year. When they got a set for Keith, the songwriting and instrumentation began. The first song that we made was "Why am I Here." After finishing our first song, we kept on writing songs until when we found Eric Lerbakken, who is the full-time guitarist for the band after replacing a few stand-ins.

We were all very interested in this music idea and thought our band has the potential to be successful for the years to come. We were ready to go into a studio when trouble hit. Keith had other business on his mind and eventually left the band to do another project. The rest of the band struggled for six months to find a drummer and were about to quit, but Eric found another drummer Sam Lackey, who goes to the same school as him. Now the band is running strong and still making new material. They performed their first gig at the Eden Prairie Blues Rock concert on December of 2010 and played their first hit, "Justify".
The band would later play a local Battle of the Bands gig at Gesthemane Church and eventually won, beating 5 other bands who gave their best performance to a crowd that was unbelievably amazing. AT's latest performance was on August 28th at Station 4 in St. Paul, MN. As for now, were looking forward to the future of Aimless Theory, we started working on new material and we started talking about going out on a little tour next summer. The future looks strong for us, and we want to thank our biggest fans, fans in general, and people who went to the shows and watched us play. We will keep updating Aimless Theory statuses in the near future. Keep on rapping and rocking everyone!
