ACKRYTE

I was born in Minneapolis and grew up in a small town in rural Wisconsin. I’ve been musically inclined all my life, playing piano since the age of 6. I started using samples and loops from my music collection in high school to make hip-hop instrumentals, house, and drum n bass. In college, I made beats as a hobby trying to emulate my favorite producers. No one else had heard my music until 2010 when I started doing beat battles. At some point HW&W heard my music and the rest is history.
