Adam Stephens and Tyson Vogel, aka Two Gallants, have been making music together since age 12, and when they first started drawing attention from the indie scene in the mid-aughts it was with a punk-infused folk-rock sound. Since then they’ve evolved their sound by broadening it, and their new single “Incidental”–from their upcoming fifth album, We Are Undone (out Feb. 3 on ATO Records) pulls from enough strains of rock ‘n’ roll to defy attempts to pin a modifier on it.
