Twin Cities DillaDay Weekend will host its annual Beat Battle in Honor of James Dewitt Yancey aka JayDee or J Dilla. The Battle will feature 8 Twin Cities Producers Battling for a cash prize, an exclusive J Dilla Merch Package presented by Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey and the honor of Producing a campaign/Hip Hop Track for Minneapolis Mayoral candidate Nekima Levy Pounds!

The Night will also feat Boston Hip Hop Legend ED. O.G. formerly of ED. O.G. and the Bulldogs, they hit you with Classic Tracks such as “I Got to Have It” and “Be a Father To Your Child”. Also blessing the stage will be Prince PO, formerly of Organized Konfusion (Partnered with Pharoah Monch). Local Heavy Hitters B.Dot Croc and Sun & La will rip the Mic nice and represent for DillaDay.
