The Coathangers returned with a new album on March 18 called Suck My Shirt (via Suicide Squeeze), though in the time since Larceny & Old Lace came out in 2011, they’ve lost a member (keyboardist Candice Jones) and become a power trio. Their vicious post-punk attack is as biting as ever, with Stephanie Luke’s powerful rasp bursting out with menace over Julia Kugel’s chopping, biting guitar attack. After about a dozen singles and three albums since 2007, “Follow Me” is one of the band’s most satisfyingly catchy tracks yet. [Pitchfork]
