Wanna play the giant cowbell on stage with MGMT? Try out for the band by making an Instagram video of yourself demonstrating your ability to keep rhythmic time with any MGMT song as well as identifying as many characters as possible from the “Your Life Is A Lie” video. One lucky winner will join the band on stage at the show and play the giant cowbell part on “Your Life Is A Lie”. Follow #whoismgmt on Instagram, post your video and be sure to include #MGMTMinneapolis and #BiggerCowbell.

This show has been moved from Roy Wilkins Auditorium to the First Avenue Mainroom.

All tickets purchased for MGMT’s November 18 Roy Wilkins concert will be honored at the door at First Avenue, so there’s no need to refund or exchange your tickets. Ticketholders unable to attend the First Avenue performance can get a refund at point of purchase. If you have a ticket for the Roy Wilkins show but for some reason cannot attend the First Avenue performance, please do your best to refund it prior to Friday, November 15 so someone else will have an opportunity to attend. We expect the First Avenue show to sell out in advance. Tickets for the First Avenue performance are general admission ($29.50) and available on ETIX.com and at The Depot Tavern (open from 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM daily).
