Hold Your Lady Tight Night (HYLTN) is a all-inclusive Country & Western dance party based out of Minneapolis, MN, established March of 2018. Our mission is to revive the country dance scene on a local level. We play everything from the classic outlaw country Legends, to the bangers we all know and love from the ’90s-’00s, to smokin’ hot fresh meat (like John Wolfe and Tyler Childers. No Bro-Country). In addition to spinning CDs, we like to have live music join us when we can.

Along with entertaining the experienced dancers who have been burning up dance floors for years, we aim to gain new dancers every step of the way by offering a basic Two Step lesson at the beginning of each of our events. It is a quick 10-15 minute lesson that does not require a partner to attend. Dancing is about meeting new people and having fun. All you need to do is show up in some smooth sole boots and decide if you want to be Lead or Follow – you can learn both!

We hope to uncover all of the country music fans here in the Twin Cities area and provide a dance floor with space for anyone who is trying to enjoy themselves at the Honky Tonk.
