Interpol have confirmed an extensive North American fall tour in support of their new album, El Pintor, (Sept. 9, Matador), including shows at Austin City Limits and a hometown show at NYC’s Terminal 5 (Nov. 24). Last week Interpol released their new single “All The Rage Back Home,” hitting #1 on Billboard’s “Trending 140″ Twitter chart and earning praise from The Guardian (“full-throttle”), Under the Radar (“fantastic”) and Anthemic (“epic”). In an early feature, Rolling Stone called El Pintor “perhaps their best effort since 2004’s Antics.” Interpol is currently on tour in Europe and Australia and will return to U.S. to play Lollapalooza and FYF next month.
