Yaakov

Yaakov is an abstract political folk rapper. He was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. After a year of working and traveling Europe, South America and Ethiopia he landed in New Haven, CT to study at Yale. Inspired by the independent rap community in Minneapolis, Yaakov is a founding member of the Minneapolis based dispossessed.Records Collective. He is also a member of Yale’s premier slam poetry team Teeth Slam Poets.
