From Monterrey, Mexico, the Villarreal sisters, Daniela (guitar and main vocals) 20, Paulina (drums) 18, and Alejandra (bass) 15, have provoked full-on headbanging of the most demanding audiences in the global rock scene, thanks to their 2014 viral video covering Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” at the young age of 14, 12 and 9. It caught the attention of Metallica as well as Rolling Stone Magazine and fell into the hands of Ellen DeGeneres, who turned them into the first Mexican band to perform at The Ellen Show.
Today, they have more than 120 million views on their YouTube channel and wide reach on Facebook and Instagram. XXI Century Blood, their first studio album, was produced independently in 2017, that same year they were the official opening band for Def Leppard in Mexico City and Guadalajara.
They shared the stage with Alice Cooper, Vince Neil, Tesla, and Def Leppard as the only Mexican band to appear in the first edition of the Mother of All RockFestival. In 2018, they surprised the metal fans at the prestigious Hell & Heaven Fest in Mexico City, soon after they were chosen by The Killers to open both SOLD OUT shows in their hometown of Monterrey. Their second studio album; Queen of The Murder Scene was released November 25, 2018. In 2019 they played the famous Rock al Parque Festival in Colombia and toured Argentina for 2 weeks to amazing reactions.
The Warning launched the most successful Kickstarter campaign to ever come out of Mexico in 2018 raising over 450% of their goal and in 2020 they not only broke their own record, they became the 6th most funded Rock Kickstarter Campaign globally with 600% of their goal. The Warning have two songs featured on the Rock Band video game. In 2020, The Warning announced their signing to Lava Records and entered the studio to record their third full-length album.
