Out From Inside

With a broad talent range from classically trained musicians to a self-taught emcee, Out From Inside (O.F.I.) is rapidly becoming a staple on the Twin Cities Hip-Hop scene. This unexpected group of artists has created a style utilizing influences from Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz and Blues, yielding a completely unique sound. Understanding that less is more, the original 9-member group was trimmed down to 5 amazing core members: Matthew “Unus” Ecklund (emcee) Jana Nyberg (vocals) Evan Montgomery (guitar) Cory Grossman (bass) and Andy Thornbrough (drums). This exciting ensemble is putting its unmistakable mark on the Minnesota music scene! Watch for the release of Out From Inside’s first full length album, Red Balloon Music, in September 2011.
