Dallas artist Sara King brings a soft and dreamy sound to indie pop with modern influences such as by Kali Uchis, Lana Del Rey, and The Marías, in addition to some older influences like Patsy Cline, Astrud Gilberto, and Billie Holiday. She began uploading covers to YouTube in 2013 and since then she's built a large engaged audience. Her first single titled 'Dreamz' was released in the summer of 2018 with her debut EP, HEAT, following along shortly after.
