Seyah

In the beginning of 2012, Nicholas Larkins Perez began a venture back into the world of Hip-hop, R&B, and Soul. After years of producing experimental Hip-hop below the radar he decided to break his silence with the help of fellow vocalist Tess Weinberg. Seyah's sound is somewhere between the pulsing rhythms of R&B and the electronic drone of glitch and contemporary Brit tones--and the sound is fa r from settled. Seyah is just beginning.

On June 21, 2012 Seyah performed its debut show and EP release at 7th St Entry to a packed house. "Seyah [...] will continue to only play when we feel it necessary. Don't take it personally, Minneapolis, we just like our musical privacy and will only come out to play when we have something special to share with you all. Early 2013 we release that something new and special."
