One of the biggest independent bands in the world, Boyce Avenue is a Florida-based band that consists of three brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano. The brothers first came together as a band in 2004 when Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals), and their older brother Daniel (bass, percussion, vocals) reconnected after Daniel graduated from Harvard Law School and moved back to Florida where Fabian and Alejandro were both attending classes at the University of Florida. It was there that the brothers started to play together, write music and start the formative steps toward becoming a Boyce Avenue.
In 2007, in an effort to share their music and ideas with the world, the band decided to start filming and posting videos on YouTube of them performing their own songs as well as some of their favorite songs by other popular artists. The videos began to resonate instantly with YouTube viewers and to date the band’s YouTube channel has amassed over 2.1 Billion views and over 7.5 Million subscribers making them the biggest independent band on the network (ranked by subscribers above artists like Shakira, Ed Sheeran, Pitbull and Lady Gaga). The band has also amassed over 500,000 Twitter followers and almost 3 million Facebook subscribers, forging a lasting and passionate digital fan base that have followed the band’s every move for years.
In 2010, the band released their major label debut album, All We Have Left, through Universal Republic Records, featuring the single “Every Breath”. However it quickly became apparent that the major label system didn’t yet understand a unique band like Boyce Avenue and the band elected to buy back their album and release it themselves directly to their rabid fans. Since then the band has released all their music through their wholly owned 3 Peace Records and have sold in excess of 10 Million singles and 500 Million streams to date, making them one of the most successful independent labels in the world.
Not content to simply interact with their fans in the digital world, Boyce Avenue has found tremendous success as a live touring band throughout their career and have sold over 500,000 tickets in 25 countries and 5 continents to date (including the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia, Brazil, Europe and the United Kingdom).
Now Boyce Avenue is beyond excited to be releasing their new full length original album Road Less Traveled in early 2016, featuring the single "Be Somebody" that was produced by the Espionage production team (Beyonce – Irreplaceable, Train – Hey Soul Sister and others) and mixed by Mark Endert (Maroon 5, Gavin Degraw, Sara Bareilles). Boyce Avenue will be touring globally in 2016 to support the album release including confirmed shows in the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, India, SE Asia, Brazil and Australia.
