Dead Phones

Trading in a genre they call "Disco punk" and "Trash Disco," Brooklyn outfit the Dead Phones must love ripped bell-bottoms. They've got the fever, alright, but an unqualified "disco" tag wouldn't sum them up. These guys can hold down a searing synth line and a cheeky vocal, but they don't skimp on the post-punk pounding. Standout track "Room Full of Teeth" puts Dead Phones in the proud lineage of Gang of Four and the Futureheads. Celebrate today by killing your phone and dancing with these platform punkers.
