SOL FUNKE

Sol Funké is a jackin-funky-soulful house event collective based in Minneapolis, MN, USA. It is the brain-child of Nate "Dogg" Laurence, Spur "of the moment," and Jeff "Big Money" Kash. The event will showcase nationally/internationally recognized and high-quality local dance djs particularly focused on the funky, jackin, soulful and decipherable Chicago side of house music, which is significantly different from many other styles being played in the Twin Cities yet equally accepted. Each event will be familiar and reliable in relation to venue, price, quality and ethos. Local talent will open each night to be closed by a nationally and/or internationally recognized dj to the extent possible. ALL are invited - from b-boys/girls to househeads to trance fans looking to shake their booty...black, white, gay, straight, short, tall, etc, etc...everyone! Our events will be designed to get the jack back in the 612 and leave all guests dripping with funk - stanky!
