In August 2019, How to Be an Antiracist debuted at no. 2 on the bestseller list and was hailed by the New York Times as “the most courageous book to date on the problem of race in the Western mind.”

Join us for a keynote speech from Dr. Kendi, followed by a community conversation. We will discuss how racism intersects with class and culture and geography and even changes the way we see and value ourselves. This event will allow you to either start or continue on your journey to go beyond the awareness of racism to the next step: contributing to the formation of a just and equitable society, particularly for traditionally underserved students.
