Monday: COBI MIKE
Formerly the frontman of the indie pop sensation Gentlemen Hall, Cobi Mike is going solo with his newest material. His previous group had toured with acts such as All-American Rejects, Imagine Dragons and Passion Pit– all while keeping their performances high-energy and keeping the crowds attentive. Hailing from Boston, Cobi Mike has maintained an extremely music-focused upbringing, playing guitar and singing since the age of 8. He hopes to bring his delightful tunes and charm to the 7th St stage tonight, make sure to catch this young star in his Minneapolis debut.

Tuesday: CED LINUS Christ-Like Album Listening Party
Father of local music label Pledge Empire Records, Virginia Beach underground hip-hop star Ced Linus is no stranger to the 7th St stage, and one could argue it is a favorite of his. He has performed or hosted shows in the Entry over ten times, supporting himself as well as artists on his label, with apparent concert sidekick Sti-Lo. This show will be hosted by former bandmate and brother Prince Carlton. This will be the first the world has heard of Ced’s new material on his upcoming Christ-Like record. Don’t miss the debut of this seasoned local hip-hop artists material tomorrow night at the Entry!

Wednesday: LITTLE PEOPLE and YPPAH
Little People will be making his long-awaited Entry debut this Wednesday, performing behind his downtempo sample-heavy mixtapes, being picked up by London record label Illicit Recordings, before releasing his cult-hit first LP, We Are But Hunks of Wood which has slowly gained traction over the past few years, in expectation of his newest unreleased material, which is sure to be previewed at his upcoming 7th St show, a highly anticipated event on his very limited tour. Alongside of the electronic savant will be up-and-comer Yppah. The two artists remain in the same genre of melancholic, downtempo electronic music– while Yppah is more on the shoegaze end of it, listing My Bloody Valentine and Bonobo as heavy influences. Don’t miss your opportunity to see two avant-garde DJ’s for a very chill Wednesday night in the Entry.

Thursday: JUDAH & THE LION
Meeting each other at Belmont University in Nashville, this indie pop trio all came from wildly different backgrounds. A southerner, a Chicago kid, and a Rocky Mountain bearded bass player. They’re known for their southern-style sound that also has traces of more modern rock, as well as folk roots. Their newest release, Kids These Days, focuses on the band’s twangy folk sound, while maintaining more modern additions such as keyboards and electric bass. It has a timeless, yet high-energy feel, and will be perfect in a venue such as the intimate 7th St Entry.

Friday: AVI BUFFALO
After his debut self-titled release, the music world, fans and critics alike, fell in love with Avi Buffalo. A master of his craft, this budding indie rock star has only received more praise for his more recent sophomore release, At Best Cuckold. He was only 19 upon releasing his first album, taking more than three years to work with and perfect his follow-up. He is known for his masterful lyrics, finding rhythms and rhymes throughout most of his catalogue, telling stories and making jokes while still maintaining a strictly serious indie rock album. He isn’t afraid to hit his falsetto, while also including instruments such as French horns, cornets, and clarinets. It’s been two years since he has graced the Entry, but a long-awaited return, catch Avi Buffalo this Friday night!

Saturday: ROYAL CANOE
Hailing from Manitoba, Canada, our northern neighbors Royal Canoe formed in 2010 and has been prolific tourers since then, seen sharing bills with artists such as Alt-J, Bombay Bicycle Club and many other big name acts, this is your chance to see them in a small venue like the Entry. They were even nominated for the most prestigious prize in Canadian music, the Juno awards for Best Alternative Album. Saturday night is the night, make sure to catch Royal Canoe and their indie pop jams.

Sunday: PAMPERS
Thrash-punk-garage rockers Pampers will be hitting the stage Sunday night in the Entry performing material from their debut self-titled album. These boys hail from New York and bring the grittyness of their punk-fueled music to each show. They are a band with little need for practice time, many pedals or manipulation. They rock out with 12 tracks over 28 minutes in this most recent release, a nonstop thrill ride through the record. The album is full of small imperfections and this group loves it, perfect for the wild show they will be throwing Sunday night in the Entry.
