D.A.P.O.

Originally known as Phule Cirkle, D.A.P.O. (Gene Pool, Global,Drugz and DJ Francisco) are Twin City hip hop pioneers and played part in one of the first Hip-Hop movements in Minnesota. With other groups like Abstract Pack, Atmosphere, Beyond, and Native Ones. D.A.P.O. formed a collective called Head Shots, which later became Rhyme Sayers Entertainment. Doing hundreds of shows and opening up for the likes of Ice-T, the Liks, Funkdoobeist, Wu Tang and many others, D.A.P.O. are underground Hip-Hop kingpins. D.A.P.O. has been linked to the mpls/stp hiphop scene since 91, doing shows and boat parties in Saint Paul and Minneapolis. And the crew has three or four albums of still unreleased material. D.A.P.O.'s live performance is like no other, and they have played at countless out-of-town venues in Iowa, Arizona,portland,california, and.They recently started working on their New project due out spring 06, on the new grassroots indie label Minnesota Millennium Ent. Expect much more from the talented D.A.P.O. in the near future.
