Pharmacy Spirits

"NO-COAST-YES-WAVE"

PHARMACY SPIRITS have two core members, Courtney Noir & James Michael Shannon Reilly.  They have played music together in different groups for over eight years.

In addition to Pharmacy Spirits, Courtney Noir is a full-time artist, working in various mediums and specializing in book-binding.  James Michael Shannon Reilly also splits his time playing in Omaha bands Beep Beep (guitar/Vox) & Eagle*Seagull (guitar). Both Courtney and James play in Shipbuilding Co., Mike Elsener's, of Head Of Femur fame, new "super-duper-group", based in Lincoln.  Appearing on the album "Teen Challenge" and regularly perfoming live, are Patrick Bradley and Brendan Wamstad-Evans.  Patrick make his living as an artist and musician, while Brendan is an accomplished entrepreneur and family man.

Now, to get mythical, baby......."Pharmacy Spirits are desperately trying to evade their past; and although history remains buried, they can’t help but recount dreams and consuming memories to "qualified" strangers in fractured hope that this time they will be understood, this time they will be helped. Though yesterday’s threats have long since vanished, haunting visions and feelings of despair grow more persistent. Pharmacy Spirits no longer sleep at night, yet they have no recollection of their nocturnal activities. No longer victims, they are subconscious warriors in a frantic battle for their future. If you listen carefully, you can hear them clashing and wailing in the dead of night, in the brush, on the outskirts of town; the sound is crude, eire, damaged, and charged, yet tempered with the persistence of hope. It is the beautiful sound of one manically fighting for one’s life... and beginning to win."
