I am beyond excited and thrilled to announce that my dear friend Mapei will come on tour with me. It is insanely symbolic to me as she’s been my idol ever since I saw her the first time when I was 17. She was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen and she dared me to follow my dream…. Mapei will be the main support for Lykke Li, a fellow Stockholm-native and her onetime roommate, on her 14-date tour this fall. Mapei is also pleased to unveil a new remix of her single “Don’t Wait” from Dutch DJ/producer R3HAB. He joins Chance The Rapper, Frankie Knuckles, Kingdom and more in remixing the track, which has topped Hype Machine on eight separate occasions, spent a month-long stint on Spotify’s viral chart and amassed over 10 million combined streams. Hey Hey, Mapei’s debut album, is out September 23 on Downtown Records.
