After extensive touring throughout 2014 in support of their debut album, Language & Perspective, Bad Suns will be taking a short holiday break before hitting the road once again. Kicking off on January 24 at The El Rey in their hometown of Los Angeles, Bad Suns will spend the end of January and all of February on their first ever North American headlining tour.
Just last week Bad Suns shared a beautiful new video for their single, “Salt,” which was inspired by conversations between front-man Christo and a close friend experiencing gender dysphoria. Hailed as “brilliant as it is challenging to watch” by OUT Magazine, the video uses powerful imagery and choreographed dance sequences to portray a transgender individual’s struggles with body image and identity and the journey through transition. ‘Salt’ appears on Bad Suns’ debut LP, Language & Perspective which was released in June. The band is currently on tour in the US in support of the release.
