2019 Campaign Launch

On August 14, 2018, we proved what’s possible and elected a new progressive voice for the future of our city. Mitra Jalali Nelson has been serving as our Ward 4 Councilmember since being sworn in Sept. 5, working hard to lead our city forward in partnership with community.

Mitra is running for re-election to City Council in 2019, and we invite you to celebrate at our campaign launch back where it all began: the Turf Club, where we took the stage on Election Night and declared victory. Our city is in a pivotal moment full of possibility. Mitra is running again to keep moving us forward, and to serve a full term for citywide progress that brings all of us with it. We haven’t slowed down, and we won’t stop.
