The Mezzanine XXI show is a totally new audio / visual production designed by Robert Del Naja and features collaborations with filmmaker Adam Curtis and AI artist Mario Klingemann. The show will re-imagine Mezzanine twenty-one years on from its release using custom audio reconstructed from the original samples and influences. Robert Del Naja says: “It’s going to be a one-off piece of work; our own personalized nostalgia nightmare head trip.”

As the Mezzanine XX1 show contains some explicit material from the war in Iraq, the band felt it was important to donate to Medecins Sans Frontieres (www.msf.org.uk) who continue to be active in the region. Proceeds from the Robert Del Naja / Adam Curtis designed merchandise on sale throughout the tour and online will be donated. In addition, a percentage of the live performance royalties (PRS) from the Pete Seeger cover ‘Where Have All The Flowers Gone’ – an anti-war song whose lyrics feature on ‘Risingson’ – will also be donated.
