Necrot

Necrot is a Death Metal/Punk trio from Oakland, California that formed in 2011, Sharing current and former members of Acephalix, Vastum, Mortuous, and Saviours, they are one of the most respected bands in the current Bay Area Death Metal community. They have extensively toured the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia, as well as making numerous festival appearances in Mexico, Scandinavia, and Japan. By 2017, They had released three demos, a demo compilation LP, and their debut full-length album entitled, Blood Offerings. Blood Offerings charted at #29 on the Billboard Hard Rock chart and #52 New Artist chart. Blood Offerings also ranked in at #4 on Decibel Magazine’s Top 40 Albums of 2017. Their second full-length album, Mortal, was released on August 28, 2020 through Tankcrimes and placed in fourteen different spots on the Billboard charts, including #2 Top New Artist, #10 Heatseekers, #17 Emerging Artist, and #41 Billboard Top Albums. They also charted within the Top 20 on numerous Top Album Year-End lists including Decibel, where they placed at #6, and Revolver, where they placed at #20.
