Based in Minneapolis, DJ Eve found her voice behind the decks and became one of Minneapolis’ first female EDM DJs. A global performer and co-founder of Gateway, she builds inclusive centered dance floors rooted in community, energy, and epic beats.
Originally from Austin, TX, DJ Eve (also known as Evilynda) fell in love with music on the dance floor, pulled in by the energy, connection, and freedom of sound system culture. What began as a deep love for electronic music quickly evolved into a passion for DJing, where she found her voice behind the decks and a way to share that same spark with others.
For more than two decades, Eve has been a cornerstone of Minneapolis’ electronic music community and one of the Twin Cities’ first female EDM DJs. She made her mark across nearly every major club in the city and held a long-running residency at the beloved Lounge in the early 2000s. Her career has taken her worldwide as far as Amsterdam, the UK, Mexico, and more.
Community is the heartbeat of Eve’s work. As co-founder and resident DJ of Gateway, a trans/queer centered dance club, she strives to create a safe space for anyone and everyone on and off the dance floor. Whether she’s curating an intimate gathering, energizing the queer underground, or commanding a packed club, Eve brings intention to every set blending bass, rhythm, and high energy into moments that stay long after the lights come up.
Eve is Founder & Owner of the record label Afterhours by Eve and aspires to bring new and emerging artists to the foreground by providing a platform that redefines paradise through music.
A fun fact about her is that she is a huge gamer and loves to play MMORPGs.
