Marc E. Bassy

Marc E. Bassy is a singer-songwriter from the Bay Area (San Francisco) who splits time between the Bay Area and Los Angeles, CA. Known for blending soulful R&B with alternative pop, Bassy’s music seamlessly transcends traditional genres, earning recognition for his distinctive vocal style, heartfelt lyricism, and unique sound.

Early in his career, Bassy gained widespread acclaim as a member of the popular pop-R&B group 2AM Club, which experienced major-label success and cultivated a dedicated fanbase. Following the group's hiatus, he launched his solo career, quickly achieving prominence with the double-platinum hit “You & Me” featuring longtime collaborator G-Eazy. His versatility as both a performer and songwriter has led to collaborations with artists including Kehlani, Quinn XCII, French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign, Blackbear, The Martinez Brothers, Cory Henry, Cheat Codes, Common Kings, P-Lo, The Internet, 070 Shake, and more.

In recent years, Marc transitioned from major-label success to independence, founding his own label, New Gold Medal. This pivotal move allowed him to fully embrace creative freedom, producing acclaimed projects such as "Postmodern Depression," "Little Men," "East Hollywood 2," "Man Makes Plans" volumes 1 & 2, and "Folk Hero Funk," each showcasing his evolving artistic vision. His label has also played a significant role in launching one of America's most exciting new indie pop groups, The Army, The Navy, who are experiencing viral success and preparing for a sold-out North American tour in Spring 2025.

Bassy has recently decided to reconnect with the sound that initially established his career, teaming up with one of his longtime best friends and renowned producer Nic Nac (known for hits like Chris Brown’s “Loyal” and DJ Khaled’s diamond-certified single “I’m The One”). Their recent single, "Reminder," offers a deeply personal reflection influenced significantly by Marc's newfound experience with fatherhood. Marc E. Bassy has most recently supported G-Eazy on the sold-out international “G-Eazy: World Tour” and the US “G-Eazy: The Helium Tour” in late spring of 2025.

Now embracing fatherhood, Marc's latest music reveals deeper introspection, emotional authenticity, and personal growth, solidifying his status as a significant voice in contemporary music. With dynamic new music and innovative collaborations on the horizon, Marc E. Bassy continues to captivate and inspire audiences well into 2025 and beyond. His next album is slated for July 2025 and a headline tour in the fall.
