Slugger

Originally formed by 2 friends in the small Northern California town of Chico, SLUGGER has become a fully formed Oi! juggernaut with the addition of a full-time rhythm section and they have been hitting stages all over California now with plans to go further soon hopefully. With clear Oi! influences, along with their deep roots in hardcore music, SLUGGER has become one of the most exciting bands, especially to see live with lead singer Tommy's energy and direct interaction with the audience.

Since crashing into the scene only a few years ago with a self-released 2-track cassette, SLUGGER has already released a 10" EP as well as a 7" tour EP, both of which have sold out, been re-pressed and sold out again! Add to that the pre-LP 7" Single of 'Politician' that sold out in about a week and that indicates that there is a big demand for more from this band, and with 2024's Dead State full-length, you get 11 tracks that deliver! The band is not wavering from their steady course of writing brickwall Oi! anthems, influenced by some hardcore AND a little reggae attitude as well.
