New Constellations is the ethereal meeting point of two lifelong creative friends: Harlee Case and Josh Smith. Their sound merges hook-forward melodies, textured guitar work, and vocals that radiate a deep warmth, grounded in lyrics that are reflective and vacillate between endlessly hopeful and quietly devastating. Harlee and Josh’s creative story began at fourteen, when they recorded a song in Josh’s childhood bedroom, a quiet spark that foreshadowed the artistic chemistry they would later cultivate. After more than a decade spent developing their own musical identities, the pair reunited with a renewed sense of vision, forming what would become New Constellations.

Their debut single, “Hot Blooded,” wasn’t an overnight phenomenon but a rare slow-burn success, an emotionally charged voyage that quietly found its audience and then caught fire through pure, organic word of mouth. Over time, the song’s warmth and vulnerability sparked a groundswell of fan devotion, ultimately surpassing 100 million streams (and still going strong), inspiring more than 100,000 pieces of fan-created content, and earning viral moments including a Reddit front-page breakout, usage by Vanity Fair, Vogue and multiple shoutouts from Pedro Pascal.

The duo’s ascent has continued with a run of major milestones: high-profile sync placements (Good Trouble, Apple TV’s Surface, ESPRIT’s campaign, and the feature film Scrambled), festival appearances, and collaborations with international producers. Onstage, their transportive, emotionally charged live performance has fueled 30+ sold-out U.S. headline shows following a support run with Cannons and a 700-cap West Coast headline tour. They now extend that momentum into the global festival circuit with Spring and Summer festival plays, including a key appearance at BottleRock, and a European/UK run slated for late 2026, marking the beginning of their international expansion.
