From LA, Jonny Goood and the Triple O’s are competing in this year’s Vans Warped Tour. Jonny Goood is the bass-hopper of the group, while Cole Vincent is on the guitar and John Broes on the drums. People may refer to Jonny as the hip hop Jimi Hendrix of our time, but there are multiple other influences including Prince, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Warren G and many more.
Originally from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Jonny has always been exposed music all his life mainly due to his parents love for music. The self-taught bassist eventually found his way to LA and in no time was touring with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Joe Jonas and The Weeknd. Along the path, he gained an interest in rapping and, with his impressive skill on the bass, he created a unique sound: bass hop. It has been difficult journey for him thus far, but with his backing band and his manager and brother Anthony by his side, he’s going give it his all to win a spot on the Warped Tour. According to Anthony, Jonny’s goal is to not just be successful but to “bring soulful music back to the forefront.”
