Burning

Burning is a Minneapolis industrial band formed in 2015 by Sadie Ryan and Oskar Brummel. The sound of Burning is distinctly removed from EBM & alternatively borrows from noise-rock, prog & metal. The current lineup is Sadie (vocals/ synth programming), joined by Mike Filkins (drums/ live noise) & Tanner Anderson of Obsequiae (bass/ electronics/ vocals +). After a hiatus around 2018-19 they are now returning with their first release in four years that is made with more harsh-noise leaning hardware & no acoustic instruments. This was derived from a series of live electronic sets between 2019-20 that deliberately strayed from their typical sound.
