Daniel Klein

Daniel Klein is a four-time James Beard Award–winning filmmaker and Emmy-nominated producer known for weaving food, culture, and social issues into compelling storytelling. A graduate of NYU, he trained at acclaimed restaurants like The Fat Duck, Mugaritz, and St. John before founding the award-winning series The Perennial Plate. He has directed over 150 short and feature-length documentaries, including Move Me and What Are We Doing Here, with work featured at top film festivals and platforms such as MAD and the United Nations. He is currently the Creative Director at Masienda.
