Growing up in Pine Hills, rapper ClicKlak moved to (Bokey) Sanford, FL from middle school and beyond. Even though he’s a man of many names, his friends call him “Pimpin”, as he quickly became recognized for his smooth southern bars and laid-back, playa persona. By his early twenties, ClicKlak was recording and making noise all over the country, creating music with the likes of Caskey, Isaiah Falls, Trae the Truth, Currency, and many more. Eventually founding the first record label in Sanford, KPE. He also makes several appearances in pop culture media/tv, such as Vice’s documentary about Lean or Jermaine Dupri’s reality show, Music Mogul. Pimpin’ recently teamed up with multi-platinum production team/music collective Luxury Lane and is crafting a new sound that can only be described as “expensive”.
