Sure, you can play the songs just like you hear them but many times K&BW puts their own twist or custom versions of the songs to spice things up. At any given moment you may hear a violin solo in an Adele song, a raging guitar solo in a Gnarls Barkley song or even a banjo starting the intro to a Journey song.
