Of mixed global heritage, with dominant Native American and Samoan roots, Nattali Rize has been known around the world for her work fronting epic roots band Blue King Brown as well as for her unwavering commitment to using her voice and music for the global struggle toward the realization of Full Freedom and the movement of Truth and Justice over the systemic exploitation of the people and our planet.
The ever evolving and dynamic front woman now leads out fresh as a solo artist, with a heavy Reggae influence she describes her universal sound as World Beat. Lyrical. New Era. Nattali is Known for her high energy, thought provoking and uplifting live performances, whether it be fronting her electric band, performing solo, unplugged, or accapella. After spending most of 2014 living, writing and recording, in Kingston Jamaica, 2015 has seen Nattali Rize drop some heavy hitting tracks. Including a deep live and studio collaborative project with cutting edge Jamaican live band and production crew ‘Notis’ and more. Nattali Rize burst onto the US scene off the back of shows with Blue King Brown at Cali Roots & Joshua Tree and a string of dates opening for SOJA in May. Over summer, playing dates alongside Michael Franti & Spearhead and festivals including Electric Forest, Wakarusa, Gathering of the Vibes, Sierra Nevada World Music Festival.
Making waves out of Jamaica, to high acclaim, Nattali’s EP dropped in August 2015, entitled New Era Frequency, it’s a collaboration with ‘Notis’ heavyweight rockaz, featuring singles/videos ‘Rebel Love ft Zuggu Dan’ and ‘Generations Will Rize ft Kabaka Pyramid’.
