Salma Slims

Salma Slims was born Salma Conteh on November 20, 1994 in Norfolk, Va. At the tender age of three years old her family moved to Atlanta GA. There in Atlanta, her father owned and operated a very successful night club, and recording studio. Even though she was young, she experienced firsthand every aspect of the music industry. They settled in the thriving metropolis of Atlanta GA.

During her early years of Elementary school Slims developed A Talent for Entertainment. Modeling was always her passion. Throughout her younger years she went to Many Open Modeling casting Calls. In Early 2003 She Auditioned for Pro scouts Model Search in Atlanta, GA. Salma was picked out of 800 models from all over the world to take Part in the Actors and modeling workshop. There she met Famous Model Didiayer Snyder. Didiayer was a Major influence on Slims career. Late after Meeting Didiayer, Salma was invited to meet with A Florida modeling Agency to sign a two year deal.

Unfortunately for the young entrepreneur the deal did not go as planned. 2 years later she tried her luck with Elite Model Management located In the Metropolitan area of Atlanta, GA. She auditioned for the top Notch Modeling Agency in hopes of being the new fresh face of the management. Following into another unfortunate situation the star did not sign with them. Taking a second loss she tried her luck one more time with New Faces Talent Agency. She and her mother were very excited to find out that she was to be casted for a very big role on A Television Sitcom. Come to find out the Agency was a scam off Craigslist and there was never a TV show. Still staying strong she took this downfall and created a very emotional mind pointing it towards her stage presence.

During her fifth grade year of school Salma became a big fan of R&B/Pop girl group TLC. After attending one of their concerts she left absolutely convinced that music was what she wanted to do in life. Fast forward ten years later, a chance encounter with current road manager Ida manu and three females (laysia pariee, Niko loundon, and sunny) changed her life. Salma Slims road manager Ida Manu later put these three amazing females in development and created a female rap group know today as "KRUSH". Salma’s rapid fire flows and precision delivery are being put to use and she has now branched out to being an individual solo artist where she can now showcase her talent at its best. With great determination and motivation Salma Slims Will be the next Best Female MC Rapper!
