The Hunna

The Hunna's soaring, anthemic brand of indie rock found immediate success in their native U.K., where their full-length debut, 100, hit the Top 20. Second album Dare repeated the feat upon its release in 2018. Hailing from Hertfordshire, England, the Hunna — singer/guitarist Ryan Potter, lead guitarist Dan Dorney, bassist Junate Angin, and drummer Jack Metcalfe — quickly built a local following before teaming up with producer Tim Larcombe (Lana Del Rey, Halsey) to record their debut single.

"Bonfires" and its B-side, "She's Casual," were released in October 2015, coinciding with the Hunna's first supporting tour with Bristol-based band Coasts. The group spent much of 2016 in the studio recording their debut album, 100, which saw release on High Time later the same year. It landed in the U.K. Top 20, reaching as high as number 13. Following headline slots at the Festival Republic Stage at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, the band went to work on their sophomore record, Dare. It climbed a slot higher on the U.K. album chart, peaking at number 12 in mid-2018.

The Hunna toured and played the main stage at festivals including Reading and Leeds throughout 2019, and parted ways with High Time. The group's next album, I'd Rather Die Than Let You In, arrived on LMW Records in 2020.
