At 16 Yung Lean lived online and rapped about being online. Approaching 20 he is a young adult claiming his place in the world, as a person and as a rapper. Accordingly the lyrics are growing more personal and complex, relevant to his new life experiences.
Yung Lean and Sad Boys have always used music to push boundaries using hip hop as a premise to explore other facets of modern music and to create new hybrids.
