Los Angeles singer-songwriter Lily Kershaw released her triumphant third full-length album Pain & More in 2024. Co-produced by Brandon Walters (Lord Huron), Pain & More is an 11-song collection of exquisite ruminations on her lifelong battle with depression, from the heartbreaking to the humorous.
“This record is like a new cycle of my life,” Lily admits. “I didn’t really realize how vulnerable I was being until later in the recording process. There is not a lyric or a line in this record that I wrote to further a narrative. It is just the truth.”
Lily released her debut album Midnight In The Garden in 2013, featuring break-out single “As It Seems.” The album scored millions of streams and critical acclaim as she landed syncs on Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, Finding Carter, and more. She followed it up with her 2018 EP Lost Angeles and her 2019 sophomore album Arcadia, which received acclaim from Nylon, American Songwriter, Vulture, Earmilk, Refinery29, and more. Along the way, Lily cut her teeth on tours alongside Radical Face, Mason Jennings, The Weepies, and Joshua Radin, to name a few, and has amassed more than 80 million streams.
