Morgan St. Jean

Deemed your new ‘favorite up-and-coming angst-y, feminist, and socially aware pop princess’ Morgan St. Jean is bringing a whole lot of glamor and grit to the pop scene with her unfiltered lyrics, jaw dropping delivery, and head turning style. Attending University of Southern California, she studied pop music and dropped an early composition entitled “Addicted.” It went viral on Soundcloud and HypeMachine as she continued to hone her craft, drawing inspiration from Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga, and Marilyn Monroe in equal measure.

In 2020 St. Jean’s collaboration with Loud Luxury, Aftertaste, went to #8 on Billboard’s Top 40 in Canada, #10 on Billboard’s Dance Chart Globally, and went Platinum in Canada after generating over 100 million streams worldwide. She then began releasing her solo music with over 4 million streams on her debut mixtape, Rich Man, before its official release.

St. Jean’s Rich Man mixtape features co-writes with artists UPSAHL and Royal & The Serpent, and has led to her playing at LA’s School Night and as a featured artist at SXSW with BMI. Morgan’s electric live show has allowed her to perform to a sold out crowd at the Troubadour, in Lady Gaga x Global Citizens ‘One World: Together At Home’ Concert, the digital Veld Music Festival, Gap House Sessions, and as a National Anthem singer for the LA Dodgers and LA Kings. She has been featured on the cover of Spotify’s Created by Women playlist as well as Spotify editorial playlists like SALT, Femme Fatale, Sad Hour, and countless others. Having taken the TikTok world by storm with her viral single ‘Not All Men,’ St. Jean has garnered over 300k TikTok followers in a matter of months.

Inspired by the statistic that 97% of women are sexually assaulted at some point in their life, St. Jean tells her own story in the empowering ballad. As a result of the new genre St. Jean has created, which she calls ‘feminist pop,’ thousands of other women have come forward with their own experiences, and together with St. Jean, have created a powerful community of women online with Morgan’s music as their soundtrack.
