Battlecats

In 1989, Jason Noer began dancing to De La Soul, Big Daddy Kane, and KRS-ONE in San Francisco, CA. Four years later, he moved back to freezing St. Paul, MN again and formed Battlecats breaking crew alongside Damian "Daylight" Day. BC joined up with Rhymesayers (a local hip-hop label) to tour and hold various competitions, including the first Hip-Hop Olympics, a competitive gathering showcasing the many different dorms of urban culture.

In 1999, Jason moved back to California and joined the West Coast Rockers which opened for acts such as the Roots, Eryka Badu, and Wu-Tang. While in California, he studied all forms of dance and choreography, won many contests, and received one of the first scholarships for choreography and performance in break dancing. Back in Minnesota, Jason has started The Faculty, dedicated to pushing the limits of Hip-Hop dance.
