Jada-Amina

Jada-Amina is a singer-songwriter, experimentalist, and sound artist hailing from the South Side of Chicago. With a sound that recollects the spirit of gospel, neo-soul, and hip-hop, she crafts music in the name of, present, and futurity. Her soulful lullabies are a response to a post-apocalyptic world, weaving narratives of resilience and hope through her hypnotic voice and innovative soundscapes.

Since releasing her debut single "Find a Way," which samples the late Pharaoh Sanders in 2019 on SoundCloud, Jada-Amina has been a fixture in Chicago's live music scene. Her work, characterized by a thoughtful blend of psychedelic soul and jazz interpretations.
