Together, we sold out 28 venues across Europe and filled them with an energy and connection that’s hard to put into words. Adventures, journeys and long/busy tours, with all their rewards, can also have some unwanted consequences. Unfortunately, the tight show schedule took a big toll on my voice. In line with medical advisors, I’ll need to undergo a period of vocal rest for at least the next 6-8 weeks and should be stronger than ever on my return. Sadly though, this medical rest also means we’ll have to cancel the upcoming US tour dates beginning at the end of this month.
It’s a really tough decision, especially with the momentum that’s been built with the live show and the Ozarker album over the last few months. The band, the energy, the spirit of these live performances is a spectacle and you deserve it in full and top form. I’ll get some rest and we’ll be in the process of rescheduling dates so the big adventure can continue.
Here’s to healing, to music, and to coming back together soon.
With heartfelt thanks and to always looking forward and onward,
