Minneapolis-based artist and producer, Luke Enyeart (pronounced N-Yurt), is a tall, gangly, fun-loving guy who spent the majority of his 20s touring as a lead guitarist for artists such as Ryan Bingham, Katie Pruitt, Ani Difranco, and Yola (to name a few). However, Luke’s original music is quite a departure from those he accompanied in the Americana world. Drawing from his influences of '70s yacht rock, funk, folk, R&B, Blues, and contemporary lo-fi indie, there is a common thread of soulful groove and catchy guitar riffs with straightforward-earnest lyrics.
In 2018, Enyeart released his first EP Happier Now on Acrophase records, featuring the indie pop track “Go Getter,” that placed on the hit Netflix series Locke and Keye. Also going by the Moniker, Lukester, Enyeart put out a single, “Little Victories” that was featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Indie playlist. Thus began the evolution of Enyeart’s upcoming debut record PHASES that he produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered set to drop May 2023.
After Living in Nashville and LA collectively for ten years, Enyeart moved back to his hometown of Minneapolis, with his wife Emmie and english bulldog Otis. Luke makes music in his home studio, coined “The Rec Room”- a personal playground surrounded by dark wood paneling and filled with '70s analog gear.
