REIKI

REIKI is a Chicago-born, Minneapolis-based vocalist, songwriter, and producer of Liberian-American descent whose genre-defying sound lives somewhere between “punk, rage + R&B.” Commonly mistaken as a stage name, REIKI is his birth name — given by his mother after finding relief through the Japanese healing practice “Reiki” during pregnancy. Since the age of three, music, performance, and emotional intensity have been at the center of his identity.

A First Avenue Best New Band inductee, REIKI has become known for immersive, high-impact performances that blur the line between concert, catharsis, and controlled chaos. Whether performing solo or backed by a relentless live band, “THE REIKI EXPERIENCE” is designed to be felt as much as heard.
