Jon Bellion is a singer, songwriter and producer from New York. After beginning his career as a songwriter, Bellion signed to Visionary Music Group, an independent label based out of New York in August of 2012. Jon's sound is an eclectic mix of pop, hip hop, rap and soul, citing musical influences like Andre 3000 and Kanye West. Jon recently released The Definition, an 11 track album that really captures his genre blending sound. Jon wrote and produced 10 of the 11 tracks on the album.
An amazing feat that continues to separate him from any other singer is his ability to produce his entire catalog that’s helped make his first projects musically diverse. With the release of his second free album, "The Separation" garnered a lot of attention online through sites like Complex, XXL and more.
The rollout to Jon’s third album, The Definition was highlighted by singles, “Munny Right,” “Luxury,” “Simple and Sweet,” and “Carry Your Throne.” The first single, “Munny Right” is nearing in on 1 million plays as well as climbing to #2 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Charts. Jon as well directed the music videos for “Simple and Sweet,” and “Carry Your Throne” which have both been described as “cinematic and incredible” by various tastemaker blogs.
