Cosmonot

Ever have a hankering for new alternative rock that sounds like it was forged in the mid-90s? Cosmonot is your fix for catchy melodies, power chords and dirty guitar solos. Their primary goal is take you on a journey that showcases the (near) future of rock, but if you begin having memories of that junior high dance when you accidentally threw up on Lisa, that's okay, too.

Founded in 2010 by Alex Smith as a solo project to pass time in college, Cosmonot finally played its first live show in June 2012. Their debut album, To the Sky, received international attention thanks to the success of "Loserhead," a pop-rock gem that was picked up by Indie/Rock Playlist. The band recently released a new music video for "Loserhead," as well as a new single — "Turn Me Off" — in early December 2013.
