Ace P

Ace P is a hip-hop producer from Minneapolis, MN, staking his claim on the scene through dusty drum breaks and sample-based loops. He grew up playing the drums and keys, but his heart ultimately pulled him towards the MPC.

The “dark art” of sampling always had an appeal. This grew as he started to connect the dots between his father’s favorite songs from the '60s/'70s, which oftentimes were sampled by his own favorite producers.

Ace P’s debut solo album, Things I Can’t Speak About, features a talented list of Twin Cities artists. His production discography includes projects with Juice Lord, Knucky, Righteous Emcee, and JuneThaKid.
